In my role as supervisor, I recognize the considerable influence instilled in helping pre-licensed therapists achieve their full potential academically, intellectually, and professionally. To be an effective graduate supervisor, I also recognize the responsibilities that come with this role and strive to ensure that these are met to the best of my abilities.
The relationship between a supervisor and supervisee is one of the most important factors in the success of their journey towards full licensure. The most positive outcomes for the supervisory relationship depends on mutually open, committed, respectful, authentic, and transparent relationships
