My Approach

I want to meet you where you are. Growth is not an easy path, AND it can be fostered amid hope, patience, and trust. You and I are the same, doing the best we can to navigate within a gray and unjust world. How we navigate this world and respond to our surroundings may not come so easily or be so simple, and we may fall short of living in accordance with our own values and goals. My passion is to help you gain tools and confidence in facing challenges that feel unmanageable or overwhelming.

Together we can challenge negative thoughts and distortions, engage in problem-solving strategies, practice acceptance of things outside of our control, recognize and lean on your strengths, learn coping tools and strategies, practice healthy and effective communication, and most importantly, individualize the therapy to your needs and values!

Christian Counseling

When desired, I offer a safe space for individuals seeking to explore or grow in their Christian faith. I have personally witnessed the hope and power of God in the therapy room, and believe that He wants to bring healing, restoration, and peace to those who seek Him.

Matthew 7:7-12

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

My goal is to help you see who you are through heaven's eyes and apply the gospel to the extent at which you are comfortable. I aim to integrate Christian principles with therapeutic tools to help each person on their own unique and individual journey. I am committed to meeting you where you are, whether you are looking to deepen your faith, feeling challenged in your faith, or simply explore the role of faith in your mental health.
