Hello, it's so nice to meet you! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and currently provide telehealth therapy sessions to individuals. I'm so glad you're considering taking this next step towards becoming an even better version of you!
As a therapist, I come alongside of my clients in their challenges and struggles, and aim to help them develop the tools needed to better navigate the difficulties and challenges in life. I truly believe that that every individual already has what it takes inside of them to make positive, lasting change but also know that sometimes it takes a shift in perspective to make such progress. My goal is to help you potentially see things from a different lens, and do so by fostering growth through warmth, encouragement, empathy, hope, and challenging faulty thought processes that often times can negatively impact our mood and relationships. With a blend of Adlerian, Rogerian, Cognitive Behavioral therapeutic approaches, and mindfulness, I will also challenge you to practice various skills learned in session on your own, outside of session. The more you are able to put in outside of session, the better the change that will occur!
I have experience working with an array of age ranges, populations, and diagnoses but have a passion for working with individual clients ages 18 to 30-something going through life transition or a career change. I also gain great joy out of helping clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, and/or panic to learn how to better manage their symptoms. My faith in God is very important to me, and so I do welcome the opportunity to incorporate faith into your sessions if this is an area of importance to you (though not at all required).
