Graduate Student

Hello, and welcome. I graduated from Argosy University in 2017 with a M.A. in Forensic Psychology. I decided my journey wasn’t meant to stop there and I returned to college, this time attending Capella University to earn a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling where I am on the path to becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I strongly believe in the perspective that as humans, we are constantly growing, learning, and healing. I believe in pushing beyond the limitations that we set for ourselves, and I like to incorporate a humanistic, person-centered, and strengths-based approach in my work with others. I have a wide range of experience in the mental health and human services field, shaping my belief that it’s imperative to meet you where you’re at and create a collaborative approach to help you achieve your goals. My areas of interest include trauma, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, depression, family blending and parenting roles, life stressors, and self-esteem, among others. I would be honored to embrace you as you are and share in this part of your journey with you.

When I’m not working, I’m generally spending time with my family – we really like to travel, explore nature, and try new foods. On my own time, you can usually find me with a book (think of the James Patterson, Stephen King, Dean Koontz type of vibe), creating some kind of art or craft project, or hanging out with my Husky-mix, Kona.
